This is with the 17-40L. It is cropped, which I guess kind of defeats the purpose in some ways. Indoors in the evening with the flash (again the 50mm 1.4 is superior for this kind of work I think). Quite a bit of processing went on in this shot. In Rawshooter I increased the exposure, increased the shadow contrast, turned the highlight contrast down to almost zero. Same with the saturation. Adjusted color temp, hue, tint. And then in photoshop I cropped, changed the saturation again (I think I may have increased it) and then used curves bumping up the red and green channels. The face and the adult arm stand in contrast to each other I think. |
