Lately, my son has been very curious about my camera. He walks over and tries to touch it as I try to hold him back to prevent grubby hands on my lens! This photo was an experiment. Flash was fired (bounced). Came out overexposed. So I went into rawshooter and increased the shadows, decreased the highlight contrast, slightly decreased the exposure compensation, and slightly bumped up the saturation. Then in photoshop I added the vignetting. This is a different type of photo than I have done before. I am finding that I am having a lot of fun when I try to salvage throwaway photos. The good news for me is that I will soon be getting another lens. I got a good deal on the 17-40L, so maybe in the future I will actually have some wide shots and landscapes. Looking forward to it. |
