I came across a photoblog that proposed taking pictures of the freeway and then digitally removing the cars. An empty highway. I thought that sounded interesting, and would no doubt allow me to learn a few things on photoshop (since I just started with it). So the two pictures you see above are actually the same picture, except the one on the left has had several vehicles digitally removed. It was impossible to remove all the vehicles due to their high concentration on the horizon. But nevertheless, I did learn about inverse selections and feathering. Fortuitously, I liked how these two pictures appeared side-by-side. So consider this a slightly boring presentation of basic photoshop skills. :) |
